RERA Act mandates the registration of real estate projects and real estate agents who intend to sell any plot, apartment or building, with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority. The act also brings-in fast-track dispute resolution agenda, through adjudicating officers (Joint Secretary to State Government) in case of any complications.
